We take over a range of operational responsibilities depending on what customers choose to handover. Our goal is to provide reliable and secure infrastructure, efficient day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure maintenance and guidance.
We can set up new Linux servers or Kubernetes clusters using our open-source frameworks - LinuxAid and KubeAid, and migrate your services onto a clean, standardized foundation. This is usually the approach we recommend for long-term stability and maintainability. However, if preferred, we can also begin by integrating monitoring and essential operational tooling directly into your existing systems.
We set up and manage monitoring for your systems when you use role::monitoring. With an active subscription, all alerts are routed directly to our operations team. You may also run your own Prometheus and Puppet instance and forward alerts to us, but by default, we host and maintain the monitoring and management environment for you - to simplify operations.
We can fully manage backup and restore operations. The setup is tailored to your infrastructure and reliability requirements.
We manage OS and application security updates, including those beyond what the base distribution provides. This requires fullhostmanagement, which allows us to manage system repositories end-to-end. Responsibilities not explicitly delegated to us - such as custom application deployments, business-specific configurations, access management, and internal approval workflows - remain under your control unless otherwise agreed.
